Did someone else say / write this? Tell me who they are. This is critically important if the words are from a published work product (e.g., poetry, lyrics, quote from an article, movie, video, or book).
If you'd like me to tag you on social media when your story is published, tell me who (@yourhandle) and where (Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook).
If you'd like an email when your postcard is published.

Do not submit images that

  • show your name, the recipient’s name or address, any email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information. These will be deleted with a quickness.
  • contain hate symbols, profanity, pornography, weapons, drugs, or criminal acts. Seriously. It’s a waste of time; I have content filtering enabled and won’t even see them. Because I value my sanity, the filtering algorithm is aggressive.
  • include social media handles or hashtags other than @anonpostcardproject and/or #anonpostcardproject. (It’s totally cool if you don’t include any handles or hashtags.)

Do not submit message text that

  • includes your name, the recipient’s name or postal address, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information.
  • is unkind. There are other places on the internet for that.
  • is racist, sexist, or hate speech in any form. Unfortunately there are other places on the internet for that too.
  • Is profane, or describes weapons, drugs, or criminal acts. It’s bad form and anyhow my mighty content filters will send it to oblivion with prejudice.
