The windows shuttered at long last,
Máire Ó Laoghaire, “Fare thee well”
Laughter replaced by dust bunnies.
A few pure souls still soldier on:
Trolling lanky northern ginger,
Thoughtful blue-haired mountain angel,
And you, kindness made manifest;
Always telling the truth, with love.
How being kind is more loving than being nice
